How do I pay?
Credit/Debit card is currently the only payment method The Chandlery accept. By entering your details at the check out stage you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected (including VAT if applicable) and delivery costs. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made to the same card. Whitstable Marine reserve the right to cancel any order that we suspect may be fraudulent.
Do prices include VAT?
All prices stated on the website are inclusive of UK VAT, currently at 17.5%.
Prices and availability of products may be changed at any time without notice.
What about credit card security?
The Chandlery use Sage Pay as our secure payment processor. All transactions take place on Sage Secure Servers and The Chandlery have no access to credit card numbers submitted at the check out stage. The Chandlery are not aware of any credit card fraud alighting from use of the http://www.the-chandlery.com/ website.
What do I need if I return some goods?
If you wish to return a product purchased from us, you may do so within 14 working days of receiving the product by contacting us, on our Contact Us page or by emailing sales@the-chandlery.com, to obtain a Return Authorisation Number. Please include your order number to enable us to trace the order.
We will refund the price of the product, less any delivery costs charged, unless the product is defective, in which case the full price paid will be refunded.
How much are your delivery charges and how long will it take?
Standard delivery for UK mainland takes 3 -5 working days from date of despatch. For out of stock items please allow a maximum of 21 days delivery. There is a standard delivery charge for UK mainland of £3.50 per order for goods that can go into a jiffy bag and will be posted by Royal Mail First Class Post. All other orders will be dispatched by courier and will be charged at £5.99 for items up to 15kg and up to 1.25m length. For the Highlands of Scotland, Ireland and the Channel Islands an additional charge will apply. If we need to get in touch regarding postage then we will caal you to confirm a price before despatch.
For overseas orders, heavy and bulky items, an additional charge will apply, but we will call to clarify how much it will cost before despatch.
